Jean – Marc Bellier

Jean-Marc Bellier, a whisky specialist and director of La Maison Du Whisky, is known for his “lyrical” whisky tasting and passion for single malt. He has been part of several whisky exhibitions in Paris since 2003.

Jean-Marc Bellier made his debut in wine: after a cellar master’s training in the Nîmes region, he directed from 1984 to 1995 different Parisian wine cellars. It was during these experiences that he discovered with fascination the world of whisky. As an autodidact, he plunges body and soul into readings and tastings, which will soon make him a true expert on the subject. Called in 1995 by La Maison du Whiskey to run the historic store at 20 rue d’Anjou in Paris, he still holds this position today.

In addition “lyrical” tasting in La Maison du Whiskey’s annual catalogs, he is the author of many reference books. He is credited with the ABCdaire du Whiskey, Le Whiskey and, in the end, a cellar book called Whiskey Cellar Book.
