An international hub of encounters and innovation, Vinitech-Sifel is on track to welcome 850 exhibitors, including 25 percent international companies, from November 26 to 28.
Additionally, 45,000 professionals from the wine, arboriculture and vegetable production sectors are expected to attend. Bernard Farges, the new chairman of the French National Committee of Wine Interprofessional Organisations, is leading this year’s edition. Furthermore, the event has been co-designed with key professional stakeholders to ensure its success.
Exhibition sectors and themed pathways
With five exhibition sectors, including the all-new Market Launch hub, this major biannual event offers a comprehensive range of products and services. Moreover, it presents numerous solutions and opportunities for professionals. Over three days, 70 conferences, forums and thematic areas will address critical issues, such as transition, diversification and climate change.
The 2024 roadmap provides an overview designed to support professionals in meeting today’s technological, economic and environmental challenges. Notably, with just a few months remaining, 85 percent of exhibitors have already confirmed their participation.
For professionals seeking new production solutions, Vinitech-Sifel 2024 will host 850 exhibitors over 70,000 square meters. The event is organized into five sectors: Cultivation Techniques, Wine Cellars and Warehouses, Bottling and Packaging, Services and Trainin, and the new Market Launch hub. This hub will feature new exhibiting companies, including specialized communication agencies and consultants.
To optimize and organize their visit, professionals will be guided by six themed pathways: Organic, Low Carbon, Beer by BIEREtech, Sparkling Wines, Fruit & Vegetables and Spirits.
Innovation trophies
The eagerly awaited Innovation Trophies will once again celebrate the advances made by manufacturers. Indeed, nearly 80 percent of visitors attend to discover innovations in equipment and new technologies. More than 80 entries were received for this year’s edition, promising to be one of the most exciting yet. The winners will be announced on September 9.
Organized into four categories (crops, packaging, processing, services and the all-new market launch), the trophies are now open to all industry projects. Innovations can also be explored in the Start-up Village, which will host around 50 companies, marking the largest gathering of innovative start-ups in this sector.
Emmanuel Viollet, Vinitech-Sifel Trade Show manager, emphasizes that Vinitech-Sifel connects professionals by integrating supply and demand. With a wide range of conferences, the Trade Show provides participants with the keys to redefine practices and conquer new markets. Furthermore, it offers effective, sustainable solutions for climatic variations and economic difficulties.
Trends focus
Vinitech-Sifel stays current with emerging societal trends, including the use of automation and AI in vineyards, new containers and no- and low-alcohol drinks. This strategic addition supports those marketing wine and features a new range of exhibitors on site.
Supported by its expert community, Vinitech-Sifel will host over 70 conferences and forums addressing key topics in each sector. For example, diversification will be highlighted during the Future Production Day on November 28, focusing on projects to diversify product offerings.
Future crops and Future Production Day
In addition, Vinitech-Sifel will review future crops, such as nuts, berries and olives, during a special Future Production Day. This event, in partnership with Invenio and the Chamber of Agriculture, will include two conferences and eight workshops to demonstrate available opportunities. Emmanuel Viollet notes that Vinitech-Sifel’s focus on viticulture and fruit and vegetable sectors is advantageous in the current context. With the growth of mixed farming and increasing interest in diversification, the event provides valuable insights and opportunities.
Innovation in focus
Innovation will also be a central theme, with conferences guiding professionals in implementing new solutions, such as varietal innovation and oenology advancements. Forums will showcase developments in oenological practices, including no- and low-alcohol wines and resistant varieties. The Scientific and Technical Committee, which includes industry experts, supports Vinitech-Sifel’s initiatives and conference program. This year, it includes Changins school from Switzerland, alongside other notable members. The Vinitech Horizons space will cover several topics in parallel, including the Agro-Ecological Transition Space and the Job Sphere. The latter will connect employers, future professionals and job seekers while also offering training information.
Vinitech-Sifel is mobilizing top international buyers through a large-scale promotional campaign. Implemented by the Promosalons network and independent experts, this campaign targets countries with high investment potential, including China and Croatia. Building on this, the Trade Show will welcome a qualified community of international decision-makers and buyers, benefiting from a personalized program and exclusive events through the new Club VS.
Destination Export service
This year, Vinitech-Sifel has a new Destination Export service to support international development. This area will feature stands from CCI/Team France Export, French Customs and 15 country stands, each manned by market advisors.

Finally, Vinitech-Sifel is launching its new online platform and app, offering centralized information, an optimized agenda and an interactive experience. Exhibitors, visitors, speakers and partners can access badge details, floorplans and more.
