VAGA by OY Hospitality, where Armenian and Arabic cuisine converge

Unveiled as OY Hospitality’s newest concept, VAGA, an upscale bar-restaurant concept, has opened its doors in Bluewaters Island UAE, offering guests contemporary Arabic and Armenian cuisines, drawing on a lifetime of heritage and traditions. True to its name, which describes a nomadic explorer, the oppulent restaurant has an eclectic approach by melding the traditional and the contemporary of two distinctive cultures, taking each guest on a culinary journey of discovery.

Vaga’s menu was engineered by Chef Sufyan Al Kebata, a champion of Arabic cuisine, who perviously headed renowned restaurants such as Ninive, La Cantine and Twiggy. A modern Armenian DNA is further enhanced with a catalog of contemporary cocktails by award-winning Armenian mixologist Agassi Serobyan.

Yuriy Blotskyy, co-founder of OY Hospitality, said: “We are passionate creators of stellar F&B concepts and VAGA will prove to be an incredible addition to our portfolio. We have channeled all our creativity and imagination into this multifaceted destination. We look forward to showcasing the fruits of our inspiration, that being Dubai’s unparalleled mix of cultures. We have taken Middle Eastern traditions and added our own artistic flair and daring interpretation. VAGA will take fine dining to the next level”
