Al Khoory Hotels announces two senior management appointments

Seasoned hotel operator Dhiraj Bagai and corporate hospitality expert Naji Moukhachen have joined the Al Khoory team.

With two decades of experience in hospitality, Bagai will head the recently launched Al Khoory Courtyard Hotel and the Urban Al Khoory Hotel. In his new role, Bagai will be responsible for overall operations, from employee satisfaction to revenue generation.

Bagai has worked in Dubai and Asia, where he has held numerous senior management positions; he was recently the general manager of La Verda Suites & Villa in Dubai Marina. Previously, he spent five years in Seminyak, Bali, where he was the hotel manager of the five-star Double-Six Luxury Hotel.

Bagai said: “The Al Khoory brand continues to grow in prominence within the UAE tourism hospitality market. I look forward to continuing their growth by upholding the hotel’s high standards, working closely with our suppliers and increasing occupancy through excellent guest experiences.”

Also joining the group as head of sales is Moukhachen. A graduate of Cornell University and an MBA holder from the Swiss Business School, Moukhachen has over 12 years of hospitality experience in senior sales positions, having launched a number of successful strategies for a variety of hospitality brands in the UAE and worldwide. His career includes senior management positions within Rotana Hotels and Hilton, where he recently held the title of commercial Manager for Hilton DoubleTree Al Jadaf.
