IHG signed franchise agreements for two hotels, Staybridge Suites Dubai Financial Centre and Staybridge Suites Dubai Internet City, with the Dubai-based real estate development firm, SRG Holding. The agreements will see the conversion of two SRG-owned developments to IHG’s extended-stay brand Staybridge Suites. The two franchised assets will be operated by SRG Hospitality, the group’s hotel management arm. The properties will open in January 2020.
Staybridge Suites Dubai Financial Centre will have 360 rooms. Facilities include meeting rooms, a spa and a large outdoor swimming pool, along with a state of the art fitness center. Food & drink options will also be available at the all-day eatery, living room lounge or street terrace as well as in-room dining.
Staybridge Suites Dubai Internet City will offer 225 rooms. An all-day eatery & living room lounge offers wholesome meals and snacks. Al fresco dining is available at the pool-side lounge. In-room dining is also available. The hotel also has a fitness center and a spa. Meeting and event space is available to cater to business events.
IHG currently operates 91 hotels across 5 brands in the Middle East, including: InterContinental® Hotels & Resorts, Crowne Plaza® Hotels & Resorts, Holiday Inn®, Holiday Inn Express® andStaybridge Suites® with a further 37 in the development pipeline due to open within the next three to five years.
