With five homegrown concepts in their expanding portfolio, Gates Hospitality welcomed two new appointments to their senior management team. Richard Cowling, director of operations, returns to the group following his previous two-year tenure with the company, where he held the role of GM at Reform Social & Grill.

Additionally, Andrew Donald joins the team as GM of Dubai’s favorite gastropub Reform Social & Grill.

Cowling will be responsible for all Gates Hospitality sites, including guest experience, staff, budgets and P&Ls, marketing and business development.  Identifying new business opportunities and strategies. He brings 25 years of experience to his position, including a decade in the UAE. Most recently, he has been the COO of Bin Jabr Group, UAE.

Donald will be in charge of Reform & Grill’s restaurant operations, employee training as well as business development. He has 15 years of experience. Most recently, he has been the GM of 6 Head, Australia.
