Marriott International has announced that Tolga Lacin has been promoted to area general manager. Prior to that, he has been the Complex GM of The Westin Mina Seyahi and Le Meridien Mina Seyahi Hotels. 

In his new position, Lacin will oversee nine Dubai hotels including The Westin and Le Meridien Mina Seyahi, Le Meridien Dubai, Aloft and Elements hotels.

A veteran hotelier, Lacin has been in the industry since 1992, leading various F&B and hospitality positions across major properties on a global level. His repertoire includes positions with Hilton Hotels, Hyatt Hotels, IHG, Kerzner, and Starwood Hotels & Resorts.
