Following the highly successful launch of The SaudiFood Show, KAOUN International and dmg events organized SaudiFood Manufacturing, the dedicated F&B manufacturing event in the kingdom, spanning processing, packaging and ingredients.
The event was held at Riyadh Front from April 30 until May 2 under the patronage of the Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources.
F&B market in Saudi Arabia
The F&B market in Saudi Arabia is currently worth around USD 60 billion and is growing at a rate of 4 percent per year. Furthermore, the Saudi F&B manufacturing industry is on the cusp of a step change in its growth and importance within the nation’s economy.

Under the theme “Building the Food Manufacturing Ecosystem of the Future,” SaudiFood Manufacturing brought together more than 400 global brands from 35 countries for the first time in the kingdom. Furthermore, over 50 international experts and thought leaders spoke at the first Food Forward Summit.
Stellar line-up of speakers
The Food Forward Summit allowed visitors to uncover best practices, insights, opportunities and lessons on the biggest topics facing the industry. Moreover, the event delved into various sectors, including green solutions like carbon credits, upcycled, and biodegradable packaging, promoting sustainability. It also showcased smarter manufacturing, supply-chain solutions, and advanced food tech, encompassing robotics, automation, digitalization, data analytics, and AI advancements. Talks were presented by leading figures in F&B manufacturing. Speakers included Dr. Flavia Fayet-Moore, Ross Dawson, Bugge Holm Hansen, George Peppou, Richard Dillon, Luke Tay and Dr. Ahmed El-Sohemy.
