Tales of the Cocktail returns for its 19th year in a hybrid digital and in-person format from September 20-23.
Headlining at the conference will be the foundation’s signature educational initiatives, featuring more than 60 digital seminars that were selected by Tales of the Cocktail Foundation’s education committee.
Sub-divided into three streams of education, business, culture and beyond the bar, these committees have worked collectively over the past few months to curate seminars that address the interests, needs and goals of bartenders from this year’s open call seminar submission process.
“It’s kind of considered the Oscars of the bar industry,” said Varia Dellalian, portfolio brand ambassador for Levant and North Africa at Bacardi Limited, and Tales of the Cocktail 2021 committee member.
She added: “Pre-Covid-19, the event was not as accessible to everyone around the world, due to its location in the U.S. and the high cost of traveling to New Orleans to attend these seminars.”
Due to the pandemic, seminars were hosted digitally and for free in 2020. Tales of the Cocktail 2021 is also free to attend digitally. Seminars will take place from September 20-23, and will touch upon several topics, from the basics of spirits to advanced spirits, trends, new ideas, business and mental health.
