Deutsche Hospitality’s latest hotel, the Steigenberger Hotel Doha, has started welcoming its first guests. The opening of the five-star hotel marks the German hospitality company’s debut in Qatar, further cementing the group’s expanding footprint and commitment to the region’s thriving hospitality sector.
The 206-room property comprises nine floors and houses five distinct dining experiences, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences.
The premium guest experience is delivered through a wide range of services and facilities, such as the internationally managed GOCO spa, which spans 1,700 square meters and features a Turkish bath, sauna and steam rooms, private suites with plunge pools and private secret gardens that provide a perfect refuge for relaxation. A gym on the top floor affords panoramic views of the city.
The five-star hotel boasts extensive conference and event facilities, with small meeting rooms to banqueting space, grand ballrooms and large conference rooms. There are four large meeting rooms that are named after popular German cities, each equipped with the latest amenities and an ideal venue for board meetings, business or private events.
Besides the Steigenberger Hotel Doha, Deutsche Hospitality is represented in the Middle East with properties in Oman, Saudi Arabia and Dubai. In the coming years, Deutsche Hospitality plans to expand its portfolio in the Middle East across all brands.
