Spinneys opens largest Ajman store

Spinneys supermarket officially opened its latest store in the family-favorite and rapidly-developing Al Jurf community to continue its expansion across the Emirate.

Measuring more than 14,000 square feet, the new Ajman store will be the second in the emirate and will create over 35 new jobs for the local community. It will open seven days a week from 8 in the morning till midnight, bringing a convenient, one-stop shop for great-tasting quality food.

The new full-service supermarket will be Spinneys’ 58th UAE store and will feature a range of on-site facilities. Services will include an in-store bakery with an Arabic bread baking facility, a deli serving fresh cold and hot beverages, a butcher, in addition to an assortment of ready-to-go meals.

Commenting on the new branch, Morne Fourie, Spinneys’ GM said, “With our continued focus on expansion throughout 2019, opening our second store in Ajman reinforces Spinneys’ footprint across the emirate. Al Jurf community offers a diverse selection of retail and dining attractions and we’re delighted to bring our fresh food offering to local shoppers in Ajman.”

Being an independently-owned retailer, Spinneys prides itself in its ability to listen to its customers and accordingly adapt and grow is offering. The quality food retailer has plans to open a further eight supermarkets this year, including Jumeirah Golf Estate (Dubai), Damac Hills (Dubai), Dubai Creek Residences (Dubai), Meydan (Dubai) and Al Maryah Central (Abu Dhabi).
