SPA Phoenicia in Phoenicia Hotel Beirut has won the Luxury Urban Escape in the Middle East and Africa as well as Luxury Hotel Spa in Lebanon at the World Luxury Spa and Restaurant Awards 2019 in Saint Petersburg, Russia. Selected by a public vote, The World Luxury Spa and Restaurant Awards provides true recognition to nominees for their world-class service excellence and high-quality establishments.

Commenting on this double win, Kamal Khalil, director of spa and recreation said, “It is with tremendous pleasure that we received two awards to share with all our guests. True luxury is not easily attained. It takes a dedicated staff who will stop at nothing to ensure that every guest feels cared for. SPA Phoenicia recently underwent some refurbishments to guarantee guests are welcomed in the utmost setting of luxury and tranquility.”

Rita Ghantous is a hospitality aficionado and a passionate writer with over 9 years’ experience in journalism and 5 years experience in the hospitality sector. She is currently the Publications Executive of Hospitality News Middle East, Taste & Flavors and Lebanon Traveler. It is with ultimate devotion for her magazines that she demonstrates her hospitality savoir-faire.
