Soha Atallah new VP of the World Packaging Organization

Soha Attallah, General Manager of Liban Pak, affiliated with the Lebanese Industrialists Association, has made history as the first Arab to be appointed Vice President of the World Packaging Organization (WPO). This milestone highlights the increasing prominence of Lebanese expertise in the global packaging sector.

The World Packaging Organization (WPO) is a global, non-governmental association dedicated to advancing packaging technology, education, and international trade. In her role, Soha Attallah will oversee international conferences, exhibitions, and awards, enhancing the recognition of Lebanese contributions on a global platform.

With over 17 years of experience in industrial development, packaging, and food safety, Soha Attallah has been instrumental in shaping Lebanon’s packaging industry. She co-founded Liban Pak, promoting packaging innovation as a critical factor in Lebanon’s industrial growth. Additionally, she leads the annual Starbak competition, a platform designed to inspire Lebanese students to innovate in packaging design and development.

Soha Attallah’s expertise extends beyond Lebanon, as she has provided consultancy services to over 200 industrial establishments across the Arab region. Her extensive collaboration with international organizations, including the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), further showcases her impact on global packaging standards.

Her appointment as Vice President of the WPO underscores her personal achievements while reflecting the broader rise of Lebanese innovation in the packaging sector. This achievement not only places Lebanon on the global map for packaging excellence but also sets a precedent for future leaders from the Arab world to follow.
