The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal appointed Christian Hoehn as its general manager.

He joins the property with more than 23 years of experience within hospitality. At his most recent position as general manager for the W Paris, he led the team to great success, significantly increasing the hotel’s revenue and occupancy rates in less than two years.

Hoehn has previously worked with leading luxury hotels including the W Istanbul, the Mandarin Oriental New York, The Mark, and the Waldorf Astoria Caledonia, Edinburgh, Scotland.

He also brings with him considerable understanding of the industry within the region, having been director of operations at the Hilton Abu Dhabi and general manager with Hilton in Riyadh.

He started his career in 1996 as Demie Chef de Partie in Switzerland, Hoehn went on to gain more management experience in numerous hotels and resorts across Europe, US and the Middle East.
