Radisson Hotel Group strengthens its positioning in Turkey

Radisson Hospitality AB, a part of the Radisson Hotel Group, signed the first Radisson branded hotel in Bursa, Turkey. The agreement with the Turkey-based real estate and construction company IHY Gayrimenkul İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. increases the Radisson Hotel Group’s portfolio in Turkey to 25 hotels and more than 4,600 rooms in operation and under development. The hotel is scheduled to open its doors in Q4 2020.

Elie Younes, executive VP and chief development officer, Radisson Hotel Group, said: “We’re pleased to introduce our first Radisson branded hotel to the Turkish market in the city of Bursa. The Radisson Hotel Bursa will feature 163 guest rooms and suites. The hotel will also offer an all-day dining restaurant – as well as a specialty restaurant, a lobby lounge bar and a pool bar & grill. Spread over 500 square meters, the hotel’s meeting space will include two large conference halls, three meeting rooms, two boardrooms and a business center. Leisure facilities will include a spa, a gym and a swimming pool.

Also, Radisson Hospitality opened the Radisson Blu Hotel, Vadistanbul in Istanbul. The property offers 193 rooms and suites, and a range of F&B outlets. Meeting facilities at the hotel include a 1,000 m2 ballroom and more than 300 m2 of meeting rooms and boardroom space. It also has seven flexible rooms and one ballroom. The hotel also offers a fully equipped in-house gym, along with Pilates lessons. The SPA, covering more than 2,330 m2, offers guests a heated pool, a Turkish bath, a steam bath, a hammam and a sauna – in addition to five treatment rooms.
