Radisson Blu Martinez hotel, Beirut recently appointed Najib Kalouch as its new head chef. Kalouch started his career working at the Metropolitan hotel before moving to Le Gray for a nine-year stint.

Chef Najib has a strong background in the F&B division with 16 years of experience. He is expected to optimize the hotel’s entire kitchen operation. His leadership skills and performance-oriented approach make him the ideal candidate for the position at Le Gray.

Kalouch is also expected to revisit and introduce a new menu to the hotel’s restaurant Olivos by offering more international specialties. Another task that is his charge includes the development of his staff’s knowledge base and skill set.

Chef Kalouch will assume the responsibilities of the hotel’s former chef, Palash Gomes, who moved to Sharja, UAE as executive chef at Radisson Blu after spending five years in this position back in Beirut.
