Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company, Edamah and Sunset Hospitality Group (SHG) have announced their partnership. This collaboration introduces Bahrain’s first Azure Beach Club, which will elevate the hospitality scene at Bilaj Al Jazayer.

Set to open in Q2 2026, Azure Beach Club promises an unparalleled beachfront experience that will redefine leisure in Bahrain. Azure Beach, established in 2017 by SHG, is a vibrant destination known for redefining beachside luxury in the Mediterranean and Middle East. Moreover, with locations in Dubai, Marbella, Doha and Beirut, it features infinity pools, ultra-luxe cabanas, endless sands, entertainment and innovative culinary offerings.

In addition, the Bahrain location will feature Ammos restaurant, a concept modeled after the successful Dubai pairing of Azure Beach and Ammos. Named after “sand” in Greek, Ammos offers traditional Greek island cuisine in a chic coastal setting. Furthermore, this addition enhances the Azure Beach experience, combining luxury with authentic dining.

Antonio Gonzalez, chairman and group CEO of SHG, voiced his excitement for the project. In a statement, he said: “We’re thrilled to collaborate with Edamah to bring Azure Beach and Ammos to Bahrain. This partnership marks a significant milestone in SHG’s mission to redefine regional lifestyle experiences.”

In response, Chris Calvert, CEO of Edamah, commented: “Our collaboration with SHG reflects our commitment to enhancing Bahrain’s tourism. Azure Beach will firmly establish Bilaj Al Jazayer as a premier leisure destination in the region.”

Furthermore, Azure Beach Bahrain represents a significant expansion in SHG’s portfolio, strengthening its position as a leading hospitality brand. Moreover, this project aligns with Edamah’s vision to boost Bahrain’s infrastructure with sustainable, world-class developments.

Consequently, slated for Q2 2026, Azure Beach Bahrain and Ammos Bahrain aim to set a new benchmark for leisure and dining. Their opening promises to reshape the region’s hospitality landscape with innovation and excellence.
