Thierry Marx received his first Michelin star in 1988 at Roc en Val in Tours. He achieved another in 1991 at Cheval Blanc in Nîmes. He became one of France’s most distinguished chefs. After having worked for 10 years at the Châteaux Cordeillan-Bages (Gironde), the chef joins Mandarin Oriental, Paris. Bringing his avant-garde approach to cooking from Mandarin Oriental, Paris, where he is Executive Chef at Sur Mesure par Thierry Marx, Camélia, Bar 8 and l’Honoré, Thierry Marx will introduce Mes’Lalla diners to modern French dishes developed during a career that has taken him to Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan and Australia.
By transforming Mes’Lalla’s menu, Chef Marx will turn the restaurant into a French eatery, where he will revisit French culinary tradition to craft a selection of contemporary dishes that are as visually enticing as they are a joy to eat.
POP-UP MARX diners will be invited to discover an À La Carte Menu of unconventional recipes such as Salmon with seaweed, Carpaccio of Octopus, and even Zucchini with marinated peach and marjoram jus, a series of exciting new taste and texture combinations that will delight epicureans.
