Nakheel Hospitality & Leisure, the hotel, restaurant and leisure arm of master developer Nakheel, unveiled the UAE’s first floating swimming pool, 50 meters offshore in the waters of Palm Jumeirah.

A new destination for poolside relaxation by day and a stunning venue for private events by night, the pool is a unique extension of Breeze Beach Grill at Club Vista Mare, one of Nakheel’s growing collection of clubs and restaurants across the emirate.

The 20-meter-long, 10-meter-wide pool has an extensive deck area with sunbeds and seating for up to 75 people.  It is attached to the seabed using the Seaflex anchor system that is used for pontoons and floating jetties.

Day time entry to the pool is for adults only, and costs AED200 (USD 55) per person, AED100 of which is redeemable on food and drinks from Breeze. Towels are provided.

By night, the pool transforms into a private function venue – ideal for corporate events, product launches or family celebrations.
