The multi-award-winning restaurant Mott 32 has opened its first location in the Middle East. The venue, which Sunset Hospitality owns and operates, is one of the most eagerly awaited additions to Dubai’s food scene. It celebrates the culture and cuisine of contemporary Hong Kong by fusing traditional Chinese cooking with cutting-edge culinary innovation.
Vibrant and energetic, the venue is named after the address of Manhattan’s first Chinese convenience store, which opened in 1891. It is located on the 73rd floor of the Address Beach Resort, Mott 32 Dubai, features an impressive indoor area, as well as an open-air terrace with views across Bluewater Island, JBR, Palm Jumeirah and the Ain Dubai.
Group Chinese executive chef Lee Man Sing oversees the kitchens at every Mott 32 restaurant worldwide. To maintain the quality of the food from both domestic and foreign vendors, the highly regarded Cantonese chef purchases fresh ingredients from ethical manufacturers. The menu at Mott 32, on the other hand, exemplifies chef Lee Man Sing’s ability in designing menus that feature excellent traditional Chinese cuisine prepared using modern cooking methods and attractive presentation.
Frankie Yang Tao has been appointed as executive chef at Mott 32 Dubai and is committed to Chef Lee Man Sing’s forward-looking approach to Chinese cuisine. Food connoisseurs can look forward to a traditional menu that pays homage to the brand’s culinary creativity, and savors familiar, bold flavors of Mott 32’s signature gastronomy through adapted versions of its classic dishes.
Antonio Gonzalez, CEO of Sunset Hospitality Group, expressed his enthusiasm: “This is a great addition to our growing portfolio of brands, and we are looking forward to providing our guests with a unique experience that combines culinary excellence, ambience, design, service and astonishing views.
