MBT Restaurant Management has opened Grand Beirut, a brand-new concept in the UAE market. Grand Beirut revives Lebanese dining within the changing landscape through the art of food, living and people.
“We successfully launched our first Lebanese restaurant ‘Beirut Sur Mer’ in 2020 marking the beginning of our growing brand portfolio,” said Niveen Ibrahim, COO at MBT Development and executive director at MBT Restaurant Management.
“When we began conceptualizing our next restaurant, we wanted to create a differentiated concept that reflects our core identity of redefining dining. Grand Beirut was born out of the vision of bringing art and food together, a true depiction of the world’s charm exuding capital.”
Located in Dubai Silicon Oasis, the Emirate’s growing business and residential district, this 465–square-meter space is inspired by the flora of Lebanon.
The interiors combine raw concrete surfaces with bold and colorful art pieces that boast rustic details.
Grand Beirut DSO will be the first of four locations set to launch across the UAE. Every branch will come with its unique offering.
“Grand Beirut DSO will also be home to the first olive oil and vinegar tasting display in the country. Originating from the oil fields of El Koura in North Lebanon, guests will get to indulge in an array of spice and herbal blends at the restaurants’ standalone display while waiting for their food to arrive on their table” explained Danny Kattar, general manager at MBT Restaurant Management.
Elias Ghazal has been appointed as the general manager of Grand Beirut Dubai. He brings years of experience in managing high-end restaurants.
