Marriott to open three hotels in Madinah’s Knowledge Economic City

Marriott International has revealed plans for the upcoming openings of three new hotels in Knowledge Economic City (KEC) within Madinah, Saudi Arabia. This collaboration aims to enhance the city’s hospitality offerings and meet the growing demand for accommodation.

The three properties — Courtyard by Marriott Knowledge Economic City, Four Points by Sheraton Knowledge Economic City and Residence Inn by Marriott Knowledge Economic City — will provide over 1,200 rooms, significantly contributing to the KEC development. Furthermore, these hotels will play a key role in strengthening the city’s position as a vital destination for both pilgrims and tourists.

Courtyard by Marriott Knowledge Economic City

Courtyard by Marriott Knowledge Economic City is set to offer 456 well-appointed rooms, designed to meet both business and leisure travelers’ needs. The hotel will feature two dining venues, multiple meeting facilities and a fitness center, as well as inviting public spaces where guests can relax and socialize. In addition, the propery will provide modern amenities that promote both comfort and productivity, making it ideal for travelers visiting the holy city. Courtyard is renowned for its focus on convenience and flexibility, ensuring guests enjoy a seamless and comfortable stay.

Four Points by Sheraton Knowledge Economic City

Four Points by Sheraton Knowledge Economic City will provide a more casual yet modern experience, featuring 558 contemporary guestrooms. The property will offer a variety of dining options, including casual dining, as well as meeting spaces and a fitness center. Moreover, Four Points by Sheraton is famous for its approachable service and value for money. This hotel will cater to those seeking a relaxed setting that combines comfort and accessibility, perfect for both business and leisure visits.

Residence Inn by Marriott Knowledge Economic City

Residence Inn by Marriott Knowledge Economic City will offer a unique residential-style experience with 250 studio and one- and two-bedroom apartments. Each apartment will come fully equipped with a kitchen and spacious bathrooms, ideal for extended stays. Additionally, the Residence Inn will feature a 24/7 grab-and-go market and fitness center, providing guests with home-like amenities for a more personalized stay. This property will appeal to long-term travelers who appreciate flexibility and the comfort of a residential atmosphere.

These three hotels are part of KEC’s expansive development, which spans 6.8 million square meters and includes cultural and recreational amenities.
