Le Flocon, Lebanon’s first artisanal ice cream shop, is changing the ice cream game with its unique flavors.
While the world’s first ice cream store opened in Europe at the end of the 17th century, Le Flocon is bringing a modern twist to this age-old treat.
In an exclusive interview, Charles Azar, founder and managing director of Charles Azar Pastry and Bakery Consultancy, discussed the challenges of creating Le Flocon. “Establishing this concept was a significant challenge. Successful ice cream parlors must combine a profitable business model with a loyal customer base. To achieve this, I focused on flavors that would satisfy, surprise, and delight our guests. After all, people come to ice cream shops for enjoyment.”
Le Flocon’s innovative menu features an extraordinary selection of flavors, including single malt, coconut Malibu, apricot whisky, and caramel toffee, along with various iced desserts served in plates or cups. Azar aims for the ice crema shop to be a leader in the ice cream industry, focusing on innovation, international exposure, and consistent results to support all clients.
