Accor has appointed Johny Zakhem as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
Zakhem joins with more than three decades of hospitality experience. He had held senior finance and business support roles across Africa, the United Kingdom, and Europe. He has proven expertise in both corporate and operational finance. In addition, he boasts a solid background in driving the performance and efficiency of large portfolios of properties.
Zakhem will play a pivotal role in guiding the strategic direction of the Group’s regional growth plans. He will ensure that its financial framework and culture effectively support all planning and development objectives.
Based in Dubai, he will be part of the Accor Middle East & Africa leadership team, reporting to CEO Mark Willis, as well as being a member of Accor’s Global Finance Committee in Paris.
