What can you tell us about Lactalis?

Lactalis is a global leader in dairy products, consistently recognized for delivering high-quality solutions to the foodservice industry worldwide. In Dubai, Lactalis has established itself as a key partner for chefs and operators, offering innovative products that support evolving kitchen demands. Additionally, our commitment to sustainability, taste and quality guarantees we remain a trusted choice for those seeking premium dairy ingredients.

What are your best-selling products?

Our best-selling foodservice products include Président butter and ceams, Galbani mozzarella and Valbresso, all known for their premium quality. These products are highly valued in professional kitchens because of their consistent quality, authenticity and ability to enhance various dishes. Furthermore, Président butter and cream have gained strong traction in bakeries and hospitality establishments due to their versatility and superior taste.

How have consumer preferences, needs and demands changed?

We’ve observed a growing shift toward authentic dairy flavors and sustainable options within the evolving foodservice industry landscape. Chefs and operators are increasingly seeking products that feature clean labels and enhanced nutritional value to meet consumer preferences. Although there is rising interest in plant-based alternatives, dairy continues to be a staple in professional kitchens due to its unmatched taste and functionality.

In your opinion, which is the most prevalent trend in the region?

Health and wellness trends are significantly shaping the foodservice sector, influencing product choices and menu development. Operators are seeking dairy products that offer functional benefits, such as high protein or reduced sugar, while prioritizing both convenience and sustainability. Furthermore, the growing demand for on-the-go dairy solutions and locally sourced ingredients positions Lactalis to support chefs in meeting these evolving trends.

Do you have any new releases to share with us?

We’re excited to introduce a new range of Italian hard cheese and cream cheese, crafted specifically for central production facilities and bakeries. Additionally, we will expand our professional butter and cream line, offering new varieties that are tailored to meet the precise needs of gastronomic chefs.
