Habib Beirut, a restaurant celebrated for its authentic Lebanese cuisine, is expanding its presence in the Middle East. Elie Bassil, the brand’s founder and COO, reveals its regional growth strategy and what makes Habib Beirut stand out from the crowd.

Why is Habib Beirut different to other concepts?

We believe that it’s the little things that make a big difference. From the presentation of each dish to the attentive service, we pay close attention to every detail. Therefore, we ensure that your dining experience is perfect. It’s the perfect blend of innovative cuisine, an inviting atmosphere and outstanding service that keeps our guests returning. Moreover, our commitment to excellence in every aspect of our restaurant is what sets us apart. We strive to create memorable dining experiences for each guest who visits us.

What prompted you to expand Habib Beirut beyond the Middle East?

We carefully evaluated strategic expansion opportunities. Considering favorable economic conditions and emerging food trends, along with infrastructure development in target markets, we analyzed our options thoroughly. Furthermore, by capitalizing on these opportunities, we could position our brand for long-term success. Moreover, this strategy aims to ensure sustainability and robust growth in competitive markets.

Building a global presence enhances our brand recognition and reputation. In addition, as a leader in innovative cuisine and hospitality, this expansion strategy solidifies our market position. Therefore, expanding beyond the Middle East was a strategic decision. This decision was driven by a combination of market opportunities, customer demand and our vision for growth and innovation.

Consequently, it allows us to share our passion for food and hospitality with a wider audience while enabling us to evolve and elevate the dining experience globally, ensuring guest satisfaction and loyalty.

What can you tell us about your latest expansion projects?

Our latest expansion has taken us to the vibrant culinary scene of the United Arab Emirates. Specifically, we’ve ventured into Kalba, Khor Fakkan and Al Majaz. This move represents an exciting chapter in our journey. Here, we introduce our unique brand of innovative cuisine and hospitality. It’s a significant step as we reach out to a new audience in this dynamic region, aiming to establish our presence.

What are some of the major plans you have in the near future?

In our pipeline, we have several major projects that reflect our commitment to innovation, sustainability and community engagement. We continue to explore opportunities domestically and internationally. This includes identifying key cities and regions where demand for our culinary concept exists. We aim to make a positive impact on the local food scene. Furthermore, menu innovation is crucial. Thus, we push culinary boundaries, exploring new flavors, ingredients and techniques continually. Our culinary team develops new dishes and seasonal specials showcasing our cuisine’s best while prioritizing quality and freshness. Technology Integration is another focus. We embrace technology to enhance guest experiences and streamline operations effectively.

We’re excited about the future, and we look forward to sharing further details about these projects as they develop.
