Hampton by Hilton NEOM set to open by Q4, 2023

Hampton by Hilton NEOM is slated to open by Q4, 2023. The 201-room hotel, which is built over an area of 8,200 square meters, is designed by Sabbour Consulting and located at the NEOM Community Site. It will largely host staff from the construction sector.

Designed with sustainability in mind, Hampton by Hilton NEOM incorporates various eco-friendly features, such as intelligent lighting and climate control systems, all aimed at minimizing energy consumption and reducing carbon footprint. The ultimate goal is to provide guests with a sustainable and responsible experience. However, Hampton by Hilton NEOM goes beyond being just a place to stay, joining the ranks of other global property openings like Morgans Originals, The Chedi and 25hours Trojena in offering an exceptional guest experience.
In April 2023, Cayan Group, a leading real estate investment and development company in the Middle East, signed a development agreement with NEOM, a megaproject spanning 26,500 square kilometers in northwest Saudi Arabia. Under the agreement, Cayan Group pledged to fully fund and develop a Hampton By Hilton hotel situated at the NEOM Community site to meet the rapidly rising accommodation demand from the construction sector – a critical component to further progress earthworks at the site. Construction, led by BEC Arabia, has already started on the hotel, and it is expected to open by the end of 2023. Strategically located, the hotel provides convenient access to the abundant attractions that NEOM has to offer. Guests can indulge in the diverse culinary scene, with numerous restaurants set to open in the vicinity or immerse themselves in the breathtaking natural landscapes that characterize the area. Whether it’s exploring nature or discovering local cuisine, Hampton by Hilton NEOM ensures a memorable stay beyond mere accommodation.
Ahmed Alhatti, chairman of Cayan Group, said: “We are excited to become part of the visionary and unique project that is NEOM and to be taking this step together with our globally recognized and respected partners Hilton Hotels and Resorts and BEC Arabia. The leadership of His Royal Highness Mohammed bin Salman, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has supported the private sector through such projects.”
Carlos Khneisser, Hilton’s vice president of development for the MEA region, added: “We’re delighted to be working with Cayan Group on the NEOM Community project. This signing signals Hilton’s ongoing efforts to contribute to the growth of the tourism sector in the Kingdom, our enduring commitment to both public and private sector partners and the growing demand for world-class offerings and new experiences throughout the kingdom”.
This agreement is the first at NEOM to be fully funded by the private sector, and Cayan Group’s investment further highlights the private sector’s interest in Saudi Arabia. The hotel’s flexible design and construction will center around sustainability while deploying energy-efficient systems. As NEOM moves forward to meet its ambitious targets, developing livability options is an important milestone to fulfill the need of visitors.
