Future Hospitality Summit World unveils New Leadership Award for 2024

Future Hospitality Summit (FHS) World has introduced a new award for its 2024 event in partnership with Hospitality News Middle East. This award will recognize individuals who have made significant contributions to the hospitality industry through outstanding dedication, leadership and innovation. Additionally, the conference will return to its original venue, Dubai’s Madinat Jumeirah, for its largest edition yet, taking place from September 30 to October 2, 2024.

Notable speakers

The edition has an impressive lineup of speakers, including Satya Anand, president of EMEA, Marriott International, and Philip Barnes, CEO of Rotana. Additionally, other speakers include Robin Rossmann, managing director of STR, and Fahad Abdulrahim Kazim, CEO of Millennium Hotels & Resorts & Lakhraim Group. Furthermore, John Pagano, group CEO of Red Sea Global, and Stephen Sackur, presenter of HARDTalk, are among the confirmed speakers. Additionally, the lineup includes Pat Thaker, editorial director of The Economist Group, and Choon Wah, CFO of H. World International. Moreover, Dr. John Blakey, CEO executive coach and author, Tatiana Labaki, head of hotels and tourism advisory at PSU, and Pascal Armoudon, a partner at Kearney, are among the distinguished group of confirmed speakers.

New features and highlights

New features and more floor space will enhance the experience, covering trends, sustainability and destination development across four stages. The program will include Summit, Future, Innovation and Exhibition stages, each designed to address different aspects of the industry. Furthermore, FHS Intelligence Talks will be a focal point on the Summit stage, alongside the Sustainable Hospitality Challenge finals and debates. Additionally, an all-new investor relations drive, dedicated zones for hospitality topics, a Tech Zone, and an ESG Lab are highlights. Moreover, Jonathan Worsley, chairman of The Bench, FHS World organizer, emphasized that FHS is about more than just business. He highlighted that FHS is a dynamic platform for nurturing relationships, igniting innovation and shaping hospitality investment’s future.

Venue expansion

By adding the arena of Madinat Jumeirah to the canvas, FHS World has almost doubled its floor space. Furthermore, this expansion brings more opportunities to showcase and celebrate the hospitality industry’s achievements and exciting future developments.

Leadership Award

The Leadership Award, in partnership with Hospitality News Middle East, honors those shaping the industry through dedication, leadership and innovation. She is currently the Publications Executive of Hospitality News Middle East, Taste & Flavors and Lebanon Traveler.
