Sigep World returning to Fiera di Rimini, 18-22 January

Sigep World 2025 slated from 18 to 22 January at Fiera di Rimini

Running from January 18-22 at Fiera di Rimini, Sigep World aims to reinforce its global role as the premier event for the foodservice industry, showcasing industry excellence.

International scope and networking

Sigep World 2025 will host exhibitors from 33 nations, including Italy, Germany, Spain, China, France, Turkey, Belgium, Poland and the United States. The international focus will be amplified through strategic business matching programs, emphasizing seamless alignment between demand and supply objectives.

Over 520 buyers have registered for the event from as far afield as India, China and Canada. Complementing this, more than 2,500 European buyers from Spain, Germany, France, Romania, Greece and the UK have been invited to the renowned event through the premium program.

An addition to Sigep’s international strategy is the Guest Country project, which will annually spotlight one specific country. This year, Saudi Arabia has been selected due to its growing tourism and hospitality potential.

Focus on sustainability and innovation

Sigep World 2025 will emphasize sustainability with the new Sustainability District, promoting sustainable practices in coffee and cocoa supply chains. Moreover, countries of origin like Ecuador and Costa Rica will present products while fostering ethical partnerships.

In addition, technological innovation will be a key theme across value chains, showcasing trends and solutions transforming the global foodservice sector. Notably, foodservice technologies will feature prominently due to partnerships with leading associations and exhibitors.

Furthermore, the Taste of Tomorrow concept combines innovative technology with biobuilding to reimagine sustainable catering venues for the modern era. Meanwhile, Fiera di Rimini will host Sigep World’s 46th competitions, including Pizza Senza Frontiere, Gelato Europe Cup and Bakery World Cup.

Additionally, there will be 40 international events, including Sigep Vision talks offering insights into evolving global foodservice market trends. Importantly, 60 high-profile speakers from the out-of-home industry will participate in these events, sharing expertise and enhancing the professional dialog.
