European Organic Products at an event in Riyadh KSA

A culinary journey brought the European organic experience to Riyadh. The exclusive product presentation and live cooking event was held on November 20 in Najd Hall, Radisson Blu Hotel.

Participants from the horeca sector, including importers, distributors, wholesalers, grocery chains, organic shops and food bloggers, came together at the event. Moreover, they engaged with representatives from contributing organizations and had the opportunity to enjoy European organic products, such as virgin olive oil, olives, honey, and organic dairy products.

The EU event provided a platform for attendees to discuss means of collaboration, gaining insights into the European program “EU Organic Journey” and learning about its initiatives and organic production methods. Furthermore, discussions revolved around the products, participant organizations and the potential for future business collaborations. In addition, renowned nutritionist Seham Alsahli delved into the benefits of organic products.

In addition, chef Justin Pillay showcased his culinary prowess by creating delectable dishes using a range of organic products.

The EU Organic Journey campaign promoted organic products from Greece, Romania and Bulgaria to consumers in UAE, Saudi Arabia and the USA. Participating organizations included ASPSE from Greece, Biocarpathia Cooperative from Romania and NAO from Bulgaria.
