Zaid Mashini has been appointed as cluster director of operation – deputy general manager at Crowne Plaza & Holiday Inn Kuwait, Al Thuraya City. He previously held the position of cluster director of sales and marketing for four years at the property. 

Mashini brings 15 years of expertise in the industry to the role, having worked for world-renowned international brands. 

Al Thuraya City comprises three hotels: Crowne Plaza, Holiday Inn and the soon-to-open InterContinental, which will be brand’s first opening in Kuwait. The properties offer a variety of restaurants, five ballrooms — including the largest ballroom in Kuwait — 14 meeting rooms and over 500 guest rooms. There is also an outdoor swimming pool, a fully equipped fitness center and a luxury, award-winning spa.
