Chef Toufic Ismail joins Fairmont Amman as Executive Pastry Chef

Fairmont Amman managed by AccorHotels announced the recent appointment of Toufic Ismail as the Executive Pastry Chef.

With several promotions witnessed recently at Fairmont Amman, the hotel reinforces its strategy to recruit exceptional talents aiming at offering extraordinary experiences for its guests.   

Fairmont Amman General Manager Fadeel Wehbe commented: “We are excited to welcome Toufic Ismail to Fairmont Amman, where he will dedicate his renowned innovative pastry techniques and passion to dazzle our guests with his unique creations”.

Toufic Ismail, has extensive experience in perfecting the art of baking, sugar art design, and chocolate carving, starting his career at the InterContinental Hotels Group – Lebanon, before moving into leading positions in a number of prestigious hotels and resorts in Algeria, UAE, Maldives, and Qatar, allowing him to learn and modify recipes in addition to discovering new techniques through the experience he encountered with the talented chefs he worked with including the renowned chef; Fabien Martinez.

Ismail fortifies his experience with a bachelor degree in baking and pastry, followed by specialized and intense skills training at St. Stephane Klein Institute in France, paving his way to win multiple awards in Lebanon and France.
