Beirut Cooking Festival soon

The Beirut Cooking Festival and Salon du Chocolat Beirut return to BIEL from November 16-18 for their seventh and fourth editions, respectively.

At the Beirut Cooking Festival, visitors can browse more than 100 stands featuring a mix of big brands and artisanal products. The Beirut Cooking Festival showcases the best in food, wine, spirits, kitchen equipment, and more. Over 20 renowned chefs will present live demonstrations and workshops at the Chefs’ Theater, preparing an exciting range of dishes from Lebanese classics to international gourmet creations.

The Beirut Cooking Festival’s Librairie Gourmande will offer a selection of cookbooks, with famous authors holding book signings at Librairie Antoine. Festival-goers can also enjoy a bite at the Taste Lebanon food court, where 20 vendors will serve both Lebanese and international dishes.

Running concurrently, the Salon du Chocolat Beirut will showcase over 60 stands of the latest in chocolate, pastry, and confectionery. A special highlight is the unveiling of a chocolate sculpture by Lebanese artist Rudy Rahme and Chef Charles Azar. Visitors can also witness the Chocolate Sculpture Competition, where students from the Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA) will create chocolate masterpieces based on the theme “Musical Ear.”

The Chocolate Fashion Show at Beirut Cooking Festival returns with 13 chocolate dresses, including a masterpiece designed by Jean Louis Sabaji in collaboration with Chef Charles Azar. Additionally, the Choco Demo will feature 20 top pastry chefs offering live demonstrations, and a special area for children will provide hands-on activities.

Joumana Dammous-Salame, Managing Director of Hospitality Services, stated, “This event celebrates Lebanon’s rich culinary culture and brings together food enthusiasts to enjoy the latest trends and flavors.”
