Lebanese homegrown concept Bachir Ice Cream expands in the UAE

Lebanese ice-cream brand Bachir has opened its first branch in the UAE at Al Jada Mall Sharjah.

The menu includes Bachir’s renowned flavors: ashta dipped in pistachios, chocolate, lemon, mulberry, apricot and strawberry. The store will also debut an array of exclusive flavors, including date, rose lokoum, lemon, mint and pineapple.

Alexandre Bachir, owner of Bachir UAE, said: “Bringing our beloved Bachir to the UAE with Belhasa Hospitality has been great. We are proud to introduce our ice cream to all nationalities and showcase what my grandfather started and what my children and I thrive to continue: a true legacy of authentic Lebanese taste.”

Two upcoming store openings have been announced by the Bachir brand: one in Dubai’s City Walk and another in Galleria Mall, Al Barsha. Both are slated for December 2022.

Established in 1936 by brothers Maurice and Edward Bachir, the brand has grown from its humble beginnings in Bikfaya, Lebanon, to operating 50 stores worldwide.
