Building on the successful implementation of Arab Student StarPack, LibanPack, the Lebanese Packaging Center and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) launched Arab StarPack Pro, the first industrial professional packaging competition for industries and professionals in the Arab region.
Arab StarPack Pro will recognize the best packaging design and innovations in consumer and industrial packaging on the Arab level bringing awareness to the important value that lies in well-designed packaging.
Arab StarPack Pro is fully accredited and recognized by WPO (World Packaging Organization), therefore the winners of ArabStarPack Pro will be eligible to apply for WorldStar, the Global Packaging Award.
WorldStar is the largest and most prestigious global packaging competition, and the 2022 edition registered 240 winners and attracted over 440 entries from 37 countries around the world. Packages eligible to apply for WorldStar are only those that have already received a national or regional award recognized by WPO.
“Winners of Arab StarPack Pro will be competing with the best of the best packaging innovations from around the globe through WorldStar, and therefore, they will gain international exposure and global recognition. It is time to have Arab Brands and Arab Industries competing for their Packaging Design and Sustainable Packaging Innovations on the global level,” said Soha Atallah, LibanPack director and WPO vice president.
Arab StraPack Pro is targeting the following participants: brand owners, packaging and Arab industries, professional designers and advertising agencies operating in the Arab region.
