Anantara Tozeur Resort has recently opened its doors in the southwest of Tunisia. The resort offers a luxury gateway to the Sahara Desert.

Fans of the Star Wars movies, will be very familiar with some of these panoramas. This is because the southern Tunisian desert around Tozeur served as the filming locations for numerous scenes from the movies. 

The project offers 50 desert-view rooms and 43 villas. It also has Saharan adventures and explorations, Arabian Nights culture and cuisine with eight different F&B destinations, as well as Hammam spa rituals.

The resort also has three swimming pools, a Sahara Ballroom and Berber Room to cater to events and meetings.
