Accor recently launched Accor One Living, providing expertise around mixed-use and branded residential development, seizing opportunities with TRIBE brand.
Furthermore, the brand solidified its position in Saudi Arabia with 13 brands, including ibis, Novotel, Adagio, Mercure, Mövenpick, Swissotel, Pullman, Raffles and others.
Accor’s ties with KSA
Additionally, the brand has established a presence in KSA’s holy cities, offering diverse accommodation options across 13 properties. In addition, Mercure Makkah Al Aziziya debuted during the Hajj season in 2023, followed by Fairmont Rua Madinah. Moreover, Accor launched Accor One Living.
The brand’s alignment with the kingdom’s goals drives its development strategy, penetrating key locations and new destinations. Furthermore, at The Red Sea development, Accor is set to launch luxury brands like Raffles and Fairmont. In the Diriyah Gate master development, Accor will open properties under prestigious brands like Orient Express.
The group’s affinity with the kingdom has been 30 years in the making, stretching beyond its leading cities. It extends into second-wave cities, including the development and franchising of 18 Accor properties. These properties are in partnership with AMSA Hospitality, set to open properties in Ha’il, Jubail and others. The first property signed is Mercure Khamis Mushayt in Aseer, with more expansions planned over the next ten years.

Accor’s Projects
Throughout 2024, the brand plans to unveil new properties, adding over 635 rooms across segments. Among these is Novotel Sahafa Riyadh. Beyond these segments, the group will also introduce three luxury and lifestyle properties over the next 12 months: Sofitel Riyadh (388 rooms), Ennismore’s Rixos Obhur Jeddah (247 rooms) and SO/ Hotel & Residences Jeddah Tahlia (147 keys). Additionally, Ennismore, majority-owned by Accor, has 13 hotels and resorts (3,500+ rooms) in the pipeline for future openings.
With 41 properties and over 16,000 rooms currently operating, the group plans to add over 45 hotels by 2030.
