Rotana wins three awards at World Travel Awards Grand Final 2018

Rotana brought back three awards from the World Travel Awards (WTA) Grand Final Gala Ceremony 2018 held in Lisbon, Portugal.

For the fifth consecutive year, both Rotana and its flagship property, Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi, secured the prestigious title of the ‘World’s Leading Business Hotel Brand 2018’ and the ‘World’s Leading Corporate Resort 2018’ respectively. In addition, the company’s newest resort in the UAE capital, Saadiyat Rotana Resort & Villas, made its debut at the awards with the ‘World’s Leading New Resort and Villas’ 2018 title.

Dubbed as ‘Oscars of the travel world,’ the World Travel Awards acknowledge, reward and celebrate excellence across all key sectors of the travel, tourism and hospitality sectors, and are regarded as the ultimate hallmark of industry excellence.

The WTA awards add to Rotana’s long list of accolades in 2018, which includes sixteen awards at the World Travel Awards ME, Best Hotel Brand in the Middle East at Business Traveller Middle East Awards, Company of the Year at Gulf Business Awards and Best Business Hotel Chain in the Middle East at UK’s Business Traveller Awards.

In 2018, Rotana added 10 hotels to its portfolio, with new openings in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Jeddah, Riyadh, and Istanbul, and the signing of its first-ever hotels in Zambia and Kenya.
