Getting to know EMF Emirates LLC

EMF Emirates LLC, a subsidiary of EMF Trading Ltd in Lebanon, serves as the Middle East coordination office for Barry Callebaut. Notably, Barry Callebaut is the global leader in chocolate and cocoa products, making this partnership essential for regional distribution. Additionally, EMF Emirates acts as the exclusive distributor in the UAE for international brands specializing in pastry and bakery ingredients.

EMF Emirates was founded and established in the UAE in 2003, marking the beginning of its successful journey. Subsequently, in 2011, the company expanded its presence further by launching a branch in Abu Dhabi, strengthening its market reach. By 2014, EMF Emirates strategically moved its Dubai operations to a larger facility, increasing warehouse storage capacity fivefold to better support its growing distribution needs. Moreover, this move facilitated enhanced operations and customer service.

Commitment to quality and certification

In 2015, EMF Emirates earned ISO certification for food safety and quality management, proving its dedication to excellence. The following year, EMF Group celebrated 40 years of activity with a grand event in Dubai, organized by Pierre Feghali, to highlight its legacy and future. Following this, 2019 marked another achievement with the company’s regional expansion through the official launch of EMF Oman.

Expanding product range and core focus

Over the years, EMF Emirates has consistently broadened its product range, now representing over 40 premium international brands. Despite this significant growth, the company has maintained a clear focus on chocolate, cocoa products and bakery ingredients. Furthermore, in its pursuit to become a preferred partner, EMF invests considerable time, resources and skilled manpower. In addition, its dedication to innovation, technical support and training programs further reinforces its leadership.

The Chocolate Academy Center

Importantly, the opening of the Chocolate Academy Center in Dubai in January 2015 proved pivotal for EMF’s growth in the region. The state-of-the-art laboratory promotes essential synergy between EMF, Barry Callebaut and various partners, facilitating collaboration. Moreover, the center serves as a valuable platform for chefs to engage in training, explore new culinary trends and foster a sense of community.

Strong leadership by Pierre Feghali

Crucially, Pierre Feghali’s vision and leadership have significantly contributed to the remarkable growth of EMF Emirates. His passion for the chocolate and pastry industry has molded a team that upholds values of respect, quality and unwavering commitment. Additionally, under his guidance, EMF established strong, enduring partnerships, integrating these partners seamlessly into the EMF family.

Lastly, Pierre Feghali’s tireless efforts, rooted in strategic vision and dedication, have built EMF Emirates into the admired company it is today. Beyond professional accomplishments, his kindness and active participation in community initiatives underscore his belief in generosity and meaningful connections. Consequently, these values have become essential to EMF Emirates’ reputation as a trusted, influential and respected name in the region.

Expanding client portfolio and market reach

As the UAE and Oman have experienced rapid development, EMF Emirates has expanded its client portfolio significantly, serving a wide range of customers. Moreover, the company now serves thousands of clients, ranging from major industry leaders to dedicated food enthusiasts. Furthermore, through ISO certification in 2016, Pierre and his team cemented EMF Emirates’ reputation for food safety and trustworthiness among partners and customers.
