InterContinental Jordan has appointed Georges Mansour as its new executive chef to oversee the hotel’s culinary activities. He brings with him over two decades of experience working in upscale hotels and fine-dining establishments.
Mansour has always been part of the IHG family and has worked for the Le Vendome InterContinental Beirut as an executive chef. For the past five years, he held the position of culinary director at the Kempinski Summerland Hotel & Resort.
Mansour’s journey into the world of cuisine started at InterContinental Geneva. He later trained at the InterContinental Hotels of London, New York, Las Vegas, Spain and Belgium.
Commenting on the new appointment Jan Kaiser, GM of InterContinental Jordan, said: “We are pleased to welcome Georges as a valued addition to our powerhouse team of talented chefs at Le Grand Dame Hotel. Georges, with his fresh outlook and innovative nature in the culinary arts, will bring new ideas, perspectives and techniques to the thriving team.”
