General Hotel Management Ltd (GHM) has signed The Chedi Wadi Safar in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
In line with the kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals, Diriyah Gate Development Authority (DGDA) has added The Chedi brand to its impressive collection of the world’s most iconic hospitality brands in Wadi Safar. GHM will complement DGDA’s transformation of Diriyah into a prime destination for local and international visitors seeking world-class cultural and lifestyle experiences, accompanied by a plethora of leisure, retail and premier dining choices.
The Chedi Wadi Safar is strategically located in one of Saudi Arabia’s most important heritage and cultural destinations. The Chedi Wadi Safar and 15 other hotel brands — located across two of DGDA’s master plans: Diriyah and Wadi Safar — were unveiled in an announcement in late November 2022.

Diriyah is currently in its first phase of construction, with the 14-square-kilometer project set to include a diverse collection of museums and galleries for cultural exploration and education. In its mandate to Vision 2030, DGDA aims to support the national tourism strategy of hosting 100 million tourists worldwide by 2030, of which Diriyah aims to attract more than 27 million visitors annually.
