The renowned Lebanese restaurant Barbar is continuing its expansion in the Middle East, with a special focus on the UAE market following the success of its first branch on Hessa Street. The second Dubai branch, located at Bay Avenue, is a two-story retail promenade near the Executive Towers complex in Business Bay.
The restaurant, which has successfully established itself on the Lebanese market for over 40 years after starting out as a small bakery in Hamra Street in the heart of Beirut, looks forward to replicating this experience in the UAE. Since its opening in Dubai, Barbar’s varied menu has been a huge hit, with thousands of diners flocking to the restaurant day and night to enjoy authentic Lebanese flavors.
In a statement, Mohammad Al Ghaziri, founder of Barbar, said: “It has been incredible to see Barbar’s expansion, from our humble beginnings in Beirut to an established and favorite casual eatery for both the Lebanese and multi-cultural diners of Dubai. This new opening is a truly exciting time for Barbar, as we open for the second time in under a year right here in Dubai. Our expansion in wider Arab region means that the Lebanese community will be able to cherish the nostalgic flavors of home, while local citizens and residents alike will explore a taste of Beirut.”
The Business Bay branch opening is part of the brand’s ambitious expansion plans, with further regional openings slated for: Riyadh, Tahliyah Street; Qatar’s new Place Vendome Mall and Al Sadd District; and in New Cairo, Egypt. These new branches are set to launch in the coming few months.
