Accor’s Kitch-In partners with Johnny’s Burger Co.

Dubai’s homegrown food delivery concept Kitch-In, the innovative food tech platform developed by Evgeny Kuzin, Chef Izu Ani and Accor, has partnered with the first burger delivery concept in The Netherlands, Johnny’s Burger Co.for a dynamic expansion across Europe.

Kitch-In launched in April 2021 with four virtual restaurant brands from one kitchen in Dubai,  UAE. Since then, the platform has grown by approximately 1,300 percent and now serves over 20 virtual restaurant brands with a rapidly expanding kitchen network.

The exclusive agreement will enable consumers to order through Kitch-In from 45 existing Johnny’s Burger Co. kitchens across The Netherlands and Belgium. It will be followed by a joint roll-out of an additional 50 kitchens throughout the region.

The Netherlands provides a strategic entry to the European market for Kitch-In, based on their strong food-delivery culture. The Netherlands has over five million active consumers in the delivery space annually, a total spend of €2.829,6 on food delivery orders in 2020 and EUR 3.371,90 in 2021, with an average order value of EUR 23,54. In Dubai, the average order value is EUR 19.69.

Joining forces for a rapid expansion, Johnny’s Burger Co., and Kitch-In are set to roll-out across all key cities in Europe, including the UK, France and Germany. Driven by investors and strategic advisors YAG Capital, the partnership fuels the global expansion of F&B companies with a focus on quality.

Currently in the process of closing off the Series A Funding, the European expansion forms the initial part of Kitch-In’s international expansion strategy. The innovative platform is also set to launch operations in 36 kitchens in the GCC before the end of year 2022, with locations confirmed across Saudi Arabia and the UAE, in partnership with Accor.
