Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the region with hotels across the Middle East, Africa and Turkey, took home a total of 16 awards at the World Travel Awards (WTA) Middle East Gala Ceremony 2018.
Now celebrating its 25th year, the event renowned as the ‘Oscars of the travel world’, took place in Ras Al Khaimah on 19 April.
Rotana secured the coveted title of ‘Middle East’s Leading Hotel Brand’ for the 12th year in a row, in addition to winning major regional awards including ‘Middle East’s Leading City Hotel’ for Amwaj Rotana, Dubai; ‘Middle East’s Leading Corporate Resort’ for Beach Rotana, Abu Dhabi; and ‘Middle East’s Leading Luxury Hotel Apartments’ for Arjaan Dubai by Rotana.
The company received a further 12 accolades in the country and city-based categories, while Rotana’s Chairman Nasser Al Nowais was recognized with a special ‘Middle East’s Leading Travel Personality Award’ for his outstanding contributions to the industry.
