This wine has been launched following many trials, it is only available for this summer and currently exclusive in Babel Bay and Babel Bahr. Serving temperature 8 – 10 C and made from Mourvedre, Cinsault, Syrah.

June 1, 2016- Diageo Lebanon crowned Kevin Haddad from Central Management, as Lebanon’s Best Bartender in the 2016 edition of the World Class Competition. He will represent Lebanon in the Global World Class Competition, taking place in Miami. The competition witnessed six local finalists in a series of challenges that led to Haddad’s win. The competition took place at Seven Sisters, Beirut Waterfront. Finalists demonstrated their skills in front of a selective panel of judges, composed of Monica Berg, winner of World Class Norway 2013 and Jason Clark Jason, winner of World Class New Zealand 2015. The six finalists had to take part in a series of challenges, beginning with identifying one of Diageo’s Reserve Brands through a tasting and nosing test. Next, contestants were asked to create a cocktail related to Lebanon, and one related to another country of their choice. Following these two challenges the jury selected the three finalists: Kevin Haddad from Central Management, Alain Ashkar from SUD and Mike Kassabiam from Sapa. The next challenge required skill, agility, and speed, as contestants were asked to mix 5 cocktails in 3.5 minutes. For the last round, the talented finalists had to create a signature cocktail with food pairing.

May 27, 2016 - For the fifth consecutive year, the events management students from Notre Dame University Louaize held their annual gathering in Hilton Habtoor Grand Beirut. The evening’s theme was ‘The Ripple Effect’ and gathered 500 people including administration, professors, public figures, event companies and students. The event was marked by the six leading events companies Beirut Marathon Association, Hospitality Services, IFP, Level by Toni Breiss, L.I.P.S. Management, Trust and Traders International Medical and Corporate Events. It included entertainment shows, free raffle and trophies distribution.

May 18, 2016 - Etablissements Antoine Massoud s.a.l (EAM), exclusive distributors of Skinos Mastiha, a Greek liqueur brand, in Lebanon, challenged 20 Lebanese bartenders to present their best Mastiha cocktail at Fertil bar in Dbayeh. The cocktail of Saleh Saleh and Cesar Chamaa were the winners of this competition. They will be participating in The Mediterranean Cocktail Challenge (MCC) final taking place in Athens. They will compete against the winners of Greece, Cyprus, Holland, UK, Turkey, etc. Skinos brand manager, David Massoud, said: “Our aim is to push talents forward and showcase the real Mediterranean spirit that relies within every Lebanese. If the winners make it through the MCC, they will have the chance to present their distinctive cocktail at Bar Convent Berlin which has grown into one of the leading international trade fairs for the bar and beverage industries.”
