August 4, 2016: Tanmia launched its ‘innovation corner’ at Spinneys supermarkets, offering the Lebanese consumers a creative extension to its fresh, healthy and easy to cook products under the concept of ‘Men Matbakhna’, offering fresh products in limited edition. Two new products will be launched every Thursday at all Spinneys branches. Following the consumers’ feedback and evaluation on the website www.talktotanmia.com, the best products will be called ‘Our consumers’ favorites’ and will be sold permanently in all supermarkets as part of Tanmia fresh line.

August 10, 2016 - Les Malins, a brasserie contemporaine, has officially opened its doors. The restaurant is located in The Backyard Hazmieh. It delivers a new take on French cuisine, bringing together the diverse multi-regional styles that make up the gastronomic landscape of this legendary culinary destination. The chefs worked in the open concept kitchen, prepping the dishes that were built by Fadi Frem a franco-Lebanese and Aadnan Ramzey a Moroccan Italian Chef.

July 28, 2016 - After Flashback’s first edition that took place last year at Printania Palace Hotel in Brummana, the second edition of the event took place from July 28 till 31st on the same premises. The exhibition was officially launched, under the patronage of Minister of Economy and Trade, Alain Hakim. This annual event aims at empowering the talented Lebanese artists, entrepreneurs and designers whether creators or owners of concept stores. More than 60 bright names displayed their refined items satisfying the needs of a large crowd.

July 27, 2016 - The U.S. Meat Export Federation and its representative in Lebanon and Jordan Agri Marketing International hosted a U.S. beef demand building initiative and carvery night taking place in Lebanon for the first time. Agri Marketing International managing director Lina Kanaan and marketing manager Miguel Kayal welcomed top hoteliers, executive chefs and leaders in the foodservice / catering operations from high-end hotels and restaurants. They shared with them the latest trends in buying, cutting and cooking U.S. beef, and exchanged hands-on experience about new alternative U.S. beef cuts such as the chuck roll, hanging tender, short ribs, striploin, brisket, and tri-tip among others.

July 18, 2016- Kunhadi hosted its ‘Taxi Night’ event, in partnership with Pepsi, and sponsored by Zaatar w Zeit and Diageo, under the slogan: ‘You want to party? Call a cab’. The event took place at Seven Sisters, Biel, Beirut. Taxi Night is a concept created by Kunhadi in 2007 to promote the use of taxis after a night of partying, whereby guests arrive to the venue and leave by two-way taxis offered by Kunhadi, as they are prohibited to drive their own cars to this event.
