April 12, 2017- Kempinski Summerland and Valrhona celebrated Easter at the Kempinski Hotel lobby lounge ‘Le Salon’, in the presence of Valrhona’s French chef chocolatier Guillaume Roesz as well as media guests, foodies and business partners.  Guests were treated to an interesting presentation  by Chef Roesz and the Kempinski pastry team headed by Chef Pierre Abi Haila, followed by a tasting of delicious creations prepared with the new Valrhona almond flavored chocolate such as chocolate drinks, chocolate bonbons, chocolate desserts and chocolate sorbets.

March 29, 2017 - G. Vincenti & Sons, one of the leading distributors of food and spirit brands in Lebanon, organized exclusive master class sessions guided by the brand’s International representative, Scott Dickson, to launch Glen Scotia Single Malt Whisky in Lebanon. The event took place on the 29th and 30th of March and three different sessions were held per day, each dedicated for VIPs, traders, connoisseurs, prominent media representatives, and bloggers.

March 01, 2017- Kempinski Summerland Hotel and Resort launched their chocolate and high tea experience held in their lobby lounge ‘Le Salon’. Guests were treated with a selection of high tea and a wide range of chocolate desserts, including truffles, cakes, macarons, soft lollipops and much more, all prepared and displayed by pastry chef Pierre Abi Haila. Kempinski will host this afternoon chocolate and high tea experience every Wednesday throughout the month of March 2017.

February 8, 2017- As part of World Class 2017 training program, Diageo held a Masterclass seminar with the purpose of demonstrating the art of crafting and conceptual cocktails. The Masterclass was held at Caprice and was hosted by Nikos Bakoulis & Vasilis Kyritsis from The Clumsies, voted #9 The World’s 50 Best Bars 2016 and the #4 Best International High Volume Cocktail Bar of Tales of the Cocktail Top 4 Spirited Awards Finalists 2016. Nikos and Vasilis imparted new techniques in reserve brand mixology for bartenders from all over Lebanon. A competition was held at the end of the Seminar where competitors had to prepare a conceptual cocktail inspired by the seminar. The bartender Mathieu Abd el Ahad from Caprice won a trip to Greece for three days, to guest bartend at The Clumsies. During the event, participants were invited to register for Diageo WORLD CLASS 2017.
