Hospitality Services and Beyond Beirut Association launches Lebanon Traveler Magazine

The first issue of “Lebanon Traveler” magazine was launched on June 29th in partnership with the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Hospitality Services and the Beyond Beirut Association.  The magazine bolsters quality tourism development in rural Lebanon by informing Lebanese and foreign tourists of Lebanon’s hidden attractions, promoting responsible tourism, and supporting local communities in developing quality tourism beyond the Beirut area.

 

“Lebanon Traveler” invites readers to explore Lebanon outside Beirut to discover Lebanon’s varied treasures.  The magazine reflects a partnership between the private sector and civil society working for rural economic development in Lebanon through tourism and hospitality sector support. Beyond Beirut and Hospitality Services worked together to produce the first issue of this magazine with support from a USAID grant to Beyond Beirut as a part of its Lebanon Business Linkages Initiative (LBLI).  During the press conference, USAID, the LBLI team, Beyond Beirut, and Hospitality Services explained how the magazine will support the objectives of their work with tourism development and the hospitality sector.
